Dr. Peter Oriavwote has thirty two years of combined multidisciplinary experience in Marketing, Management, Finance, Accounting, Agriculture, Health, Insurance, Consultancy and Corporate governance in Nigeria and the United States of America. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Marketing Management. Amongst others, he holds an MBA in Marketing. He is an alumnus of the University of Nigeria. He is an expert in business strategy development and modelling. Peter is a fellow of three professional bodies: Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (Chartered) and Institute of Management Consultants.
As a scholar, he has published two books on Sales and Management with over 60 published research works and articles in Scholarly Journals and magazines. He has attended or presented at over 100 workshops, conferences and seminars in the past thirty two years, in Nigeria, Europe and The United States of America.
Dr. Peter joined Salus Trust Limited (a national health maintenance organisation) in 2008 as Director of Marketing. He was elevated to the position of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Salus Trust in 2011 and has positively transformed the HMO through a number of innovative health plans and bespoke customer service and ICT programmes. He is an ardent Catholic and is happily married with children.
